Authors are permitted to post the publisher’s version of their work online (e.g. in institutional repositories or on their website) after its initial publication in the Journal.

Editors allow authors to publish preprint versions.

Footnotes, bibliographical references

A. Archival sources (order of the elements)

1. Name of archive (in full at the first occurrence, then abbreviated),
2. Name of archival unit (in full at the first occurrence, then abbreviated),
3. Archival unit reference number,
4. Microfilm number in round brackets,
5. Description of document (title),
6. Place of the creation of the source document,
7. Date of the source document (if the date is full, the month is written in roman numerals, e.g: 10 VI 1981),
8. Number of folio.

E.g.: Archiwum Akt Nowych (hereafter AAN), Urząd Rady Ministrów (hereafter URM), ref. no. 5/467, Note to the Citizen Prime Minister on the settlement of dues for cars, Warsaw, 17 XII 1945, fol. 3.

B. Websites –the full address (without hyperlinks) should be given, with the access date in square brackets.

C. Footnote references:

1. Monograph:
a) Name (initials) and surname of the author,
b) Title (italicised),
c) Place and year of publication,
d) Page number.

E.g.: J. Szczepański, Rozważania o konsumpcji i polityki społecznej, Warsaw 1978, p. 78.

2. Article in a collective work:

• a) Name (initial) and surname of the author,
• b) Title of the article (in italics)
• c) in:
• d) Title of the collective work (in italics),
• e) Editors of the volume (ed. initials of the name and surname)
• f) Place and year of publication,
• g) Page number(s).

3. Article in a journal:

• a) Name (initial) and surname of the author,
• b) Title of the article (in italics),
• c) Title of the journal (in inverted commas)
• d) Year of publication
• e) volume and(or) issue number,
• f) page number(s).
